Najeeb M. Abdussalam

Founder & CEO

Najeeb Mahmoud Abdussalam, Founder/Chief Executive Officer,TSIL: Najeeb has over 20 years’ experience managing and directing complex projects. He served as Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company (AUTMCO), a dual role of Secretary, Urban Mass Transport committee/ Secretary (technical), Kano Rail Mass Transit Implementation Committee and has served as the Director of Kano Urban Transport Project Office (KUTPO). He previously served as the Secretary of the Kano State Project Delivery Committee, and Senior Special Assistant - Research and Documentation to the Executive Governor Kano State and has coordinated several World Bank and Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF), a DFID funded program projects in Kano State.He began his career working in the risk management, financial advisory and business development units of Tropical Commercial Bank and First City Monument Bank. Najeeb obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Bayero University, Kano in 2007. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography from University of Maiduguri in 1996.He is a Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants and a Certified Management Consultant, a member of the Sustainable Policy Commission: Nigeria Economic Summit Group. A chartered member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and a member of Chartered Institute of Transport Administrators (CIOTA). Najeeb is also a Key member of Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN) and Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency-Alliance (REEE-A)

 

AbdoulRahmaan Hassan

COO/Director

Possessing over 20 years of experience in operations and maintenance (O&M) activities, including but not limited to supervision of daily O&M activities of over 5000 BTS sites which comprise 36 Media Gateways (MGWs) as well as 5 Data Centers (DCs), AbdoulRahmaan managed Projects, Processes and Policies as well as Spares Management, OPEX and CAPEX management, Contract and Business Continuity management, Outsourcing, Insourcing and People management in Telecom and Data Center industries. AbdoulRahmaan managed and supervised internalization and maintenance of over 5000 sites delivering a 35% reduction in maintenance management costs, Technical and Commercial evaluation of various high value projects including managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets for Data Center and Sites installation, integration and commissioning, upgrades, sites relocation, link reroutes (decommissioning and reintegration), Generator upgrades and replacements, fuel management, management of cooling units/systems as well as Data center consolidation. AbdoulRahmaan is versed in data center and access network support, performance management systems, as well as data center infrastructure integration, implementation, and administration. These activities have grounded AbdoulRahmaan in vendor and cost management, enterprise risk analysis and management, as well as financial decision support. Bello Musa

Director

Engr. Bello Musa is a Chartered Electrical Engineer registered in Nigeria and UK, a visionary leader with over 28 years’ experience in planning and executing operational excellence across diverse sector in the energy industry at both national and international stages. A specialist in Electrical Power System with a focus on business process reengineering, network design and operational sustainability in line with international best practices. He pioneered the World Bank supported least cost geo-spatial and technical modelling for grid and off-grid electricity access program termed; “Nigeria Electrification Access Program Development” (NEAPD) in conjunction with Columbia University NY to facilitate electricity access to over 2Million household in the four states of Kaduna DISCO franchise areas. At the International stage, Engr Bello Musa has been actively involved in the design, project supervision and commissioning of multimillion US Dollar projects in Uthmaniyya, Hawiyya and Haradh Gas plants of Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia. He currently sits as a member of COREN committee on Standards and codes, tasked with reviewing and repositioning engineering standards in Nigeria. An Alumna of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria & Bayero University Kano, his Professional career started in 1996 with the defunct NEPA, where he had a rear opportunity to mark his contributions in all the sectors in the Nigeria Electricity Supply industry i.e., Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Training before embarking on International stage with Oil and Gas giant, Saudi Aramco.

Yasir M. Abdussalam

Director

With over 18 years of experience as a certified ERP consultant and IT professional, Yasir Mahmoud Abdussalam has established himself as a leader in the Power and Telecoms sectors. His expertise encompasses digital transformation, project and resource management, application design, process automation, IT capacity building, and business development. Yasir has a proven track record of managing major IT projects, overseeing no fewer than ten projects annually for the past eight years. Despite working within tight budget constraints, he consistently delivers effective solutions that drive measurable outcomes. His efforts in application design and process automation have significantly improved efficiency, reduced revenue leakage, enhanced operational performance, and ensured the successful implementation of key policies. Among his notable achievements is leading the ICT department of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company to earn recognition as the best-performing department in 2018, based on criteria such as employee engagement and the quality of support services provided. In 2016, he designed the first Smart Metering Network Infrastructure for the deployment of Smart AMR meters across the Disco franchise area. Yasir’s professional credentials reflect his dedication to excellence and innovation. He is a Certified Management Consultant and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consulting. His training in Strategic Foresight from the School of International Futures (SOIF) in London, along with certifications in SAP Business Intelligence Solutions, Digital Business Transformation, and membership in renowned institutions such as the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the British Computer Society (BCS), highlight his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements. Additionally, Yasir has honed his leadership abilities and understanding of policy and ethics through training at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Jos. As a results-oriented professional, Yasir is passionate about driving digital transformation and delivering value to organizations. His multidisciplinary expertise and commitment to innovation make him a valuable asset for navigating the complexities of the modern IT landscape and fostering sustainable growth.

Munir Aminu

CTO/Director

Munir’s experience spans over 14 years, in academia, industry and renewable energy system design, financial modelling, rural electrification, and artificial intelligence. A doctoral degree holder in Electronics Engineering from Kookmin University, South Korea, with emphasis in Renewable Energy. Academic Excellence Award recipient with Ph.D. dissertation on the design and optimization of micro grids with high renewable energy penetration. A master’s degree in Electric Electronics Engineering from Yasar University in Izmir, Turkey. Munir Head’s the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Munir has over a decade of experience in renewable energy design in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. He is an expert in renewable energy systems and specializes in solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems. He is the developer of MDSTool, software for designing mini-grids. Munir also has research and field experience in rural electrification projects in Nigeria, Palau, Bolivia, Chile, and South Korea. A licensed Electrical Engineer by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigerian Electricity Management Agency (NEMSA), a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Korea Institute of Electrical Engineers (KIEE), and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and CTO TSIL.
